Winter Emergency Shelter
Seasonal Shelter Operates October through April
Bed check-in begins at 4:30 pm daily for men.
Dinner served for men and women at 6:00 pm daily.
Even with all of the beds at FSS and other organizations in town, Flagstaff likely had at least 25 people sleeping out on the streets or in the woods in the coldest winter months. On the worst winter nights the majority of these homeless come in droves seeking safety.
In the last few years, FSS has had to operate in overflow "code-blue" conditions because of the life-threatening weather outside. We do not turn away homeless men regardless of their sobriety, mental health or physical health as long as they comply with shelter rules.
